How do I play the smaller dice?
By default the bigger dice number is played when you click on a chequer. To play the smaller dice first (especially from the bar) simply move your mouse to the top right (over the smaller dice) and click. This will move your chequer the smaller amount.

Special Rules Explained
Crawford rule (match play only): The first game when a player is within one point of winning the match, no doubling is permitted. Doubling is possible in the match after the Crawford game.
Jacoby rule (cash games only): This is a rule agreed by both players prior to the game commencing, whereby gammons and backgammons will only count for one point if no doubling has occurred during the game.
Doubling: Using the doubling cube, you can double the stakes at any time in the game, prior to rolling the dice. Doubling is not possible in the first round. Doubling will be limited depending on the amount of money brought into the game (game limit).
Beaver: This is a rule agreed by both players prior to the game commencing, whereby upon doubling, your opponent may re-double straight away and retain ownership of the cube. If original doubler refuse the beaver, they will forfeit the game.
Rake
Ladbrokes offers the most competitive rake structure in Internet Backgammon . We believe a lower rake lets you play more games. Further information about rake can be found hereDisconnections Policy?
What happens if I am disconnected from the Internet and Ladbrokes Backgammon? Information travelling from your PC to our gaming servers in Gibraltar makes a long journey across many networks and must pass through a number of network routers. Should this information encounter any delay or have to be re-routed at any network hop, this may cause your connection to be dropped. Sometimes your PC receives a return message to inform you of disconnection, at other times your PC will be completely unaware and it may appear as though the game has stopped or frozen.Unscheduled disconnects occur primarily because of infrequent line drops, which happen due to irregularities along the telephone networks. The line quality of telephone cable can vary from neighbourhood to neighbourhood, and can be particularly poor if you are in a rural area. When it rains or when it's cold and damp, line conditions will be affected more than when the weather is good.
Our gaming servers and their connectivity to the internet are monitored 24 hours a day, if our gaming servers do suffer from either network downtime or connectivity issues, all players online will be affected and Ladbrokes server rules apply to all games in progress. Ladbrokes cannot be held responsible for customer or third party disconnections, unfortunately the problem of occasional disconnection is an inherent aspect of playing online.
If, for whatever reason, a player is disconnected and does not return to the game before their timers run out, Ladbrokes will settle the game and split the stakes according to the board equity at the time of the disconnection.
